If you're replacing an audio transmitter such as a (bodypack transmitter or headset transmitter) for your wireless microphone system—whether due to damage, loss, or upgrade—matching the correct frequency is critical. Purchasing the wrong frequency will result in not being able to use your microphone system. Any new transmitter must operate on the same wireless frequency as the receiver it is to be used with.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find the correct frequency for your replacement transmitter and highlight specifics for popular systems like Shure BLX, Samson AirLine, and Fitness Audio U-Series.
Wireless microphone systems operate on specific frequency bands, and both the transmitter and receiver must be on the EXACT same frequency to communicate.

Most wireless microphone systems display the frequency or channel on the receiver unit.
Look for:
Tip: Don’t assume all systems of the same brand use the same frequencies. Frequencies vary by region, model, and even production year.
