We recommend lavalier microphones for creating videos for fitness, or for live streaming classes. We always recommend headset microphones for fitness, but there is a demand for lavalier microphones. There is an increase of instructors teaching streaming fitness classes, or pre-recording classes to air later, lavs will work in this type of application.
Lav microphones have a different pickup pattern than a standard microphone. In a group exercise room, they are subject to feedback. Lavalier's are also known as a lav, lapel mic, clip mic, body mic, collar mic, neck mic, or personal mic.
