Check their credentials

You could go to the best personal trainer available to you, but if they annoyed you, you’d hate your entire experience. Before you hand over cash, get to know them and spend some time around them to make sure that you like them. Do they prefer to use positive reinforcement or negative reinforcement? Talk to them and get a feel for how they act. Pay them for one session and see how it goes, before signing up long term.
